A sad news report reveals the passing away of a student of Yobe State University (YSU) Damaturu, identified as Maryam Lawan Goroma, just moments after completing an examination. According to reports, Maryam was studying Chemistry at the university and collapsed on Thursday evening, April 27. She was immediately taken to the hospital, but unfortunately, she didn't survive the health crisis. One of Maryam's classmates, Bukar Maisandari, who shared the news on social media, expressed shock as the deceased had appeared to be healthy before the tragic incident occurred.

According to reports, Maryam, who was studying Chemistry, slumped on Thursday evening, April 27, and was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. Although a friend claimed that Maryam complained of stomach ache during the exam, it is still unclear what led to her sudden demise. The late student will be buried today, April 28, at her family home in Sabon Fegi, Damaturu. Her family and friends have taken to social media to express their grief over the tragedy.
