Davido Responds to Portable’s Public Appeal for a Music Collaboration

 

Davido, a popular Nigerian musician, has responded to Portable's public request for a collaboration in his song. In a video that surfaced on social media, Portable praised Davido and pleaded with Nigerians to help him ask Davido to feature in his song. Portable revealed that he had the chorus of the song ready and only needed a verse from the Timeless hitmaker. Given their past dispute, many people did not expect Davido to respond to Portable's request. 

Recall that Portable and Davido had a falling out after Portable performed at the campaign rally of Gboyega Oyetola, a former governor of Osun state. Oyetola was contesting against Ademola Adeleke, Davido's uncle and the current governor of the state. However, despite their disagreement, Davido reached out to Portable in a voice note, calling him "Zazuuuu." It is unclear whether or not Davido will actually collaborate with Portable on his song.
